SANDY DENNY AND THE STRAWBS
ALL OUR OWN WORK: THE COMPLETE SESSIONS
Due for release on 14 June: the expanded collector's edition of the Strawbs' very first abum, recorded with Sandy Denny in Copenhagen in 1967. The lavishly illustrated packaging includes extracts from Dave Cousins' diary of the time and never before seen pictures of Sandy.
The master tapes have been remastered by Chris Tsangarides and sound fantastic, bringing out elements of the music we've never heard before on either the old Pickwick release in 1973 or the Hannibal release (Sandy And The Strawbs).
And there are various demos and outtakes from the period, including two Dave Cousins songs "Indian Summer" and "The Falling Leaves" which have never before seen the light of day, and a version of "Pieces of 79 and 15" with a Cousins lead vocal.

SANDY DENNY - UNIVERSAL 19 CD BOXED SET
News just in of a limited edition 19 CD (!) Sandy Denny box set, scheduled for release 4 Oct 2010, entitled "Sandy Denny".
11 of the CDs feature Sandy's complete studio recordings with Alex Campbell, Johnny Silvo, Fotheringay, Strawbs, Fairport Convention and solo with additional content; outtakes, demos and live recordings.
There are 8 CDs of bonus material; unreleased songs, demos, unreleased BBC recordings, alternate takes, live recordings, acoustic versions, and rare radio interviews, including the legendarily 'long lost' Lord Bateman".
The set is lavishly packaged and features all new artwork. It comes with a 72 page 11" square hardback book containing over 100 rare and mostly unseen photographs, Sandy's handwritten lyrics (many of which are unrecorded songs) and fascinating memorabilia. Each CD is housed in an individual gatefold digipak sleeve. The box also contains a reproductions of a beautiful original Island press pack, an exceptionally rare A3 promo colour poster for Northstar Grassman and the Ravens, a set of Postcards, the receipt for the purchase of her first piano and one of Sandy's handwritten notebooks.
