HAIKU COMPETITION
=================
One of the stunning new tracks in High Seas is Dave Cousins' composition
"Haiku" - lyrics for the song (and all the other tracks) will be available
shortly from Strawbsweb.
A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry, constructed in three lines of five,
seven, and five syllables respectively. The message of a haiku poem usually
centers on some aspect of spirituality and provokes an emotional response
in the reader. There is also an element of nature about haiku as in the
seasons although the reference is often oblique.
Write a Strawbs-related haiku and submit it to the website - send them by
e-mail to haiku@strawbsweb.co.uk.
Two lucky winners chosen by Dave Cousins - one in North America and one in
Europe will get to have lunch with Dave Cousins in North America and
England respectively.
Closing date: 31 July
Winners announced: end August.
No purchase necessary (though you can if you want !!!)
