HEARTBREAK HILL - THE PLATINUM EDITION
======================================
The cassette and initial CD versions of Heartbreak Hill were taken from the
best sources then available to the band, as the master tapes were
unavailable. However, they have now been retrieved and the album is being
re-issued in all its pristine glory. I've heard one track on The Witchwood
Project CD - "Heartbreak Hill" and it sounds absolutely fabulous. There's
also a bonus track, "Something Or Nothing (The Whiplash Mix)".
Available 10 April 2006.
====================================================
THE WITCHWOOD PROJECT - CLASSIC ROCK SOCIETY SAMPLER
====================================================
The Witchwood Project is a sampler CD with tracks from past and upcoming
Witchwood Media releases.
As well as a selection of tracks from existing and upcoming Witchwood
releases, there is a previously unreleased/unknown Strawberry Hill Boys
track: "The Happiest Boy In Town" and an Acoustic Strawbs out-take "Simple
Visions".
It'll only be available - when it's released in March - as a free gift when
you subscribe to the excellent Classic Rock Society. For details see the
Classic Rock Society website (www.classicrocksociety.co.uk).
Hurry up and join - you get an excellent rock magazine, in which a Strawbs
double page spread is planned for their March/April issue available soon.
If there's any CDs left, a limited number may be available for sale, but we
can't guarantee numbers.
