MEMORIES OF WOODSTOCK 8TH AUGUST - CANCELLED
============================================
Unfortunately I have now had confirmation that the Strawbs, along
with a large number of other bands have pulled out of this festival,
which has now been completely cancelled.
The festival organisers have apparently undertaken to provide refunds
for tickets purchased - I'm sorry I don't have details of how to
obtain these refunds - you'll need to check with your ticket
agency/the box office etc. where you bought them.

40TH ANNIVERSARY - BETTER THAN BADGES .....
===========================================
Ever been at a conference looking for people you know from e-mail but
don't know what they look like ? Conference badges are helpful, but
if you're short-sighted like me you spend far too much time gazing at
peoples' chests for comfort (yours or theirs!).
So - a new feature on Strawbsweb for the 40th anniversary, so we can
all recognise each other in September. If you're coming to the
anniversary weekend, send a photograph of yourself with your name and
a short caption to dick.greener@o2.co.uk, and we'll post it on Strawbsweb.
And, even if you're not able to make it, send us a pic anyway and
we'll post it on the Absent Friends page, so you can be there in spirit ....
Check out your fellow Strawbs fans at
