The Canada tour dates will feature the whole of Hero And Heroine played live (never before attempted) !!

SANDY & STRAWBS TOPS AMAZON BLUEGRASS CHART

On 5 Sep, the remastered All Our Own Work was TOP of the Amazon Bluegrass bestsellers list, and is still at the time of writing this, up there at number 2. It also features in the folk charts.

CATHRYN & BRIAN - TRIBUTE SHOW IN US
====================================

As some of you may know, Cathryn's father Judge John G Sowder died on 23 August and Cathryn stayed over in the US (with Brian joining her) for the funeral, which meant that some UK gigs had to be deferred. Cathryn has sent her thanks for the many messages of condolence she and her family received.

They have decided to institute an annual benefit concert for one of the causes her father supported - the local Volunteer Rescue Squad and the future Station 4, at Lanexa.

The first annual concert will be at Sportsmen Tavern, 3560 North Courthouse Road, Providence Forge, on Sunday September 12th, from 6.00 - 8.00pm. Tickets are $10, available in advance, or at the door ... 804 966 2990.

Cathryn and Brian are looking forward to resuming their gigging schedule on September 24th, with their appearance at the Madame Guitar Festival, Tricesimo, Italy.

ROY HILL - SWITZERLAND LAUNCH - 26 SEPT

And last, but not least, a reminder that Roy's long awaited second solo album, Switzerland (the first came out in 1978!) will launch at the Ram Jam Club on 26 Sept, an event that some have been waitng most of their lives for ....
