Hi all
A quick Strawbswebnews before I go off on holiday on later today (1 April). Please do support the new CD by ordering from Witchwood Records - there's some great video footage from the Nov 2010 UK tour which you'll be able to download in return.

If you order using the online shop before 4pm UK time on Monday 18 April, your name will as usual go into the CD booklet. You will also be able to download some exclusive audience-shot video material, from the live shows on the November UK tour, which captures the power of the current line-up in full live flow.

The video downloads will be made available on or before 11 April.
NB. There will be two downloads, which are non-Hero And Heroine tracks from the November UK tour: "Lay Down" and the beautifully sung "So Close And Yet So Far Away".
The videos will be in FLV format (Flash video) and are in password-protected ZIP files. You can get the password and the location from Witchwood Records when you buy, or from me (when I get back from holiday on 11th April).
If you need some free software to view FLV files, you can download some excellent software, available for both PCs and Macs called Videolan from:

Advance notice of a radio interview Dave Lambert recorded earlier this week for BBC Oxford about his memories of The Manor Studios and playing in Oxford.

As well as lunching with old friend Linda Thompson, Dave Cousins also met up with Tony Visconti, who was busy recording a cover of "Lay Down" by a girl singer called Debbie Clark; there'll be a gospel choir added to it in due course. Sunds great. Photo to follow on Strawbsweb.
