ACOUSTICS KINGS LYNN SHOW POSTPONED
===================================
The Acoustic Strawbs show on Sun 13 May has been postponed.

ZEUS PLAY CROMER "FOLK AT THE PIER" FESTIVAL
============================================
At last, another live date for Dave Lambert's Zeus, with cohorts Graeme Taylor, Jon Davie and Tom Leary (who also plays alongside Ian Cutler in Feast Of Fiddles). The band was last seen getting a really great reception at the 2009 40th anniversary celebrations in Twickenham.
Zeus plays on Sunday afternoon (13 May) in a concert which also features the inimitable Richard Digance. The show opens with Strawhead, who play "popular music of the olden time" with a great mixture of keyboard, eccentric instruments and ebullient vocalist Gregg Butler. (I booked them for my university folk club back in the late 70s, an excellent band). See http://www.strawhead.org.uk/albumsales.html for a few tasters of their material.
The Sunday evening gig features Harvey Andrews and the hugely brilliant Home Service, worth sticking around for as well.
Details of the festival which runs from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th
at: http://www.deckchairproductions.co.uk/fotp.html. Other attractions include: veterans Wizz Jones, Dave Swarbrick, the new Albion Band, Oysterband, Edward II and a couple of interesting pairings - Huw Williams and Maartin Allcock and Kevin Dempsey and Rosie Carson.
