PICK OF THE POPS FOR YOUR DJ 311, 1970 (*)

This 1970 transcription disc included Strawbs' "Canon Dale" and "Song Of A Sad Little Girl" along with a Brian Matthews interview.

Both tracks (but not the interview) are included on 2010's Strawbs At The BBC Volume 1, where it is credited as Sounds Of The Seventies, 5 Oct 1970, which seems to be the recording date not the date of transmission. Ken Garner's "In Session Tonight" lists the tracks as being transmitted on 31 Oct 1970 along with "The Antique Suite" recorded at the same session.
