LITTLE SLEEPY
A&M, 1975 (US, Portugal, New Zealand only)

There was little Strawbs activity in the UK in 1975, the band concentrating on the US market with mammoth 10-week tours across the US and Canada; they played a mere three live UK dates in late December. Little surprise then that no UK single was forthcoming from the Nomadness album. That was a shame though, as a number of tracks from this album might well have made good singles: the bouncy "Back On The Farm", "Tokyo Rosie" (perhaps recreating the nude antics during its recording for the Top of the Pops studio - or then again, maybe not) or one of the best of Lambert's rockers: "Little Sleepy", which was selected in the US.
In Portugal however, "Little Sleeppy" as a single made it onto release with a fairly poor quality picture sleeve, complete with with mis-spelt title. Also, recently discovered, Australia also backed the release (though copies were manufactured in the US).
