Japan once again went for a different track as the A-side of a single release from Grave New World: whilst UK and US chose "Benedictus", the Japanese put that track on the B-side and opted instead for the powerful "New World" as the A-side.

Japan release
"New World" (Cousins)/
"Benedictus" (Cousins)
(AM 135, A&M, 1972)
This is a standard brown label release, with Japanese characters stamped on the label - most likely marking it out as a promo copy. Also has the 2-sided insert, with the Grave New World cover painting on the front and the lyrics on the rear, but this copy came with standard A&M/King Records white sleeve.
