This is the 100th release from Grapefruit Records, a definitive overview of the British psychedelic scene, an epic five-CD/book set that includes more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased music from the halcyon period 1966-68. A 60pp A5 book is included.

"Tell Me What You See In Me" is the Strawbs cut here. There's a trach from the first Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera album (featuring Hud and John), a rare recording by Dave Lambert's Friday's Child (later to change name to Fire) and a Nashville Teens number to boot.

(Whilst both Colin Forster (of Elmer Gantry's Velvet Opera) and Paul Brett were both members of Tintern Abbey, they're not involved on the selection here.
