Sorry for limited updating of the site at present owing to continuing effect of circumstances beyond my control (not health problems so don't worry, but thanks to those who have been in touch with me to check). Hope this will be resolved shortly (plenty to catch up on!)

FRI 24 MAY - ACOUSTICS ONLY - TRADING BOUNDARIES ================================================
A lone Acoustics gig on 24 May at the fabulous Trading Boundaries, nr Fletching, East Sussex - a stately home type music venue, which offers dinner gigs with some standing/non-dining places. A magical, candlelit, intimate experience.
Unfortunately this was missed off the last Strawbswebnews, my apologies - details are:
Sheffield Green, Uckfield, East Sussex TN22 3RB
Dining starts 7.30; standing tickets arrive a bit later.
Dining tickets are £45, standing tickets 15. A few tickets are left but this is likely to be a sell-out so hurry.
ACOUSTIC STRAWBS/ZOMBIES SHOWS
Acoustic Strawbs are supporting the legendary Zombies on a selection of dates on their May/June tour. The Acoustics opened for the Zombies on a number of dates in the US a while back and, by all accounts, there was a great vibe between the two bands. The Zombies line-up features co-founders Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone.
Acoustic Strawbs/Zombies dates:
Saturday 25 May, The Anvil Basingstoke
Thursday 30 May, G Live Guildford
Saturday 1 June, IndigO2 London
For other Zombies dates without the Acoustic Strawbs, see the Zombies website: http://thezombies.net/
ACOUSTIC STRAWBS SEPTEMBER SHOWS
Early warning of a few September dates:
* Sun 1 Sep - Weyfest, Farnham
* Thu 19 Sep - Stables, Wavendon
Most likely more to follow.
WHAT DAVE COUSINS DID NEXT ....
In case you are wondering, in the summer months when Dave is not touring, he is working on his autobiography, which is expected to come out next year as part of the 45th anniversary celebrations.
I've seen seven or so chapters work in progress and it's great stuff, a lot of which has never been made known before. Watch this space and hopefully we'll be able to bring you a few snippets to whet your appetite ...
FLIP SIDE TOUR - JUNE 2013
JIM McCARTY, JOHN HAWKEN, JANN KLOSE
This from the Jim McCarty website:
"I'm delighted to announce that I'll be hitting the road this summer with former Renaissance bandmate John Hawken (also of The Nashville Teens) and singer-songwriter Jann Klose. We've called it the 'Flip Side' tour to reflect the other side to Jim McCarty of The Yardbirds! We'll be performing music from my solo albums, plus Renaissance and Yardbirds favourites. We're really looking forward to playing these intimate and atmospheric shows."
