45S AND DOWNLOADS ON STRAWBSWEB

45s
---

Lots of uploading improved scans and newly discovered A&M single releases onto Strawbsweb at

http://www.strawbsweb.co.uk/ix_45s.asp

Did you know:
* Lay Down was released in Peru;
* The Man Who Called Himself Jesus (El Hombre Que Se Llamo Jesus A Si Mismo) was released in Argentina;
* Part Of The Union came out in Greece, Guatemala and Brazil;
* Here It Comes wasn't released in the US or Canada, but was the Strawbs only (as far as we know) Kenyan single?

More to come from Alison, who is cranking her scanner up as you read this, and more from me as I start on the later years.

Downloads
---------

A few new covers added to the downloads section at:

http://www.strawbsweb.co.uk/dlds/fdlds.asp

George Hogg has contributed a great "Shine On Silver Sun", and a gentle version of Dave's lovely track from The Boy In The Sailor Suit, "The Smile You Left Behind". And a new pared-down take on "Lay Down" from Scottish singer songwriter Vivien Scotson.

Anyone else have Strawbs covers to contribute? Send your mp3s to dick.greener@gmail.com and send an email to the normal dick.greener@o2.co.uk address to let me know.

You can always find out what has recently been added to Strawbsweb at:
